I have decided to travel to the Oya occupied system, although some may consider this a risky endeavor. This ship has minimal armor, but I have prepared it specifically for this mission.
The ship may not be able to jump as far as before, but it is now more survivable.
Let's focus on the main topic instead.
The theory proposed in the Codex about Thargoids communicating via radio waves appears to be correct. I picked up a significant amount of chatter in the Oya system, indicating that they do indeed use an octal number system for communication. I was able to partially translate their messages.

$ ... 99+Most radio waves are filled with noise, making it difficult to discern the intended message. The source of this interference is currently unknown, but I am eager to discover its origin. From the message I've got, Thargoids seem to be proficient in mathematics, which indicates a higher level of intelligence than commonly perceived. Additionally, mathematics appears to be their primary language.
It is evident that they are displeased with the downfall of Oya, and we as a humanity should be prepared for them fighting back with all their force.
I can understand their anger and sadness. Let's remember that war is always sad for both sides and stay humane.
