Logbook Entry 01: The long trek home.

Computer start recording.This is commander "Dolphinizer" of the Justicar's of Helios.
After over a month traveling through the depths of space I finally reached my goal on May the first. Unfortunately, my ship's computer was getting jammed up downloading some... Things at the time so i wasn't able to record it. I finally reached my goal of Sagittarius A and was relieved to finally be there. I remember the exact moment as I flew in. It was late night, 1 'O clock in the morning to be exact and I was weary and ready to retire to the hibernation pod for the night, however knowing I wouldn't be able to catch any sleep I continued on. It was dangerous flying as my wearyness nearly led to some nasty close encounters with a few stars, but I've never been the patient type.
I remember flying into the system, my ship's crackly old speakers blaring some old 20th century band, pink floss or something. I remember seeing the expanse of Sagittarius covering nearly all of my viewport, no black hole I had seen before game anywhere close. I knew that at zero throttle I was at nearly no risk of getting sucked in but some instinctive part of me was terrified, and wanted nothing more than to turn 180° and full throttle out of there. I finished my scan, had a gander at the gravitation lensing surrounding the hole, scanned Source 2 and then jumped out of the system. In hindsight I should've waited until the next day to see it, might have enjoyed it more.
But enough of that, let's get to present day.
I've started to rush home, I can hear Helios calling out for my aid and who am I to resist. The Justicar's back in 27KP are having a very important election and we've discovered a treasure trove system filled to the brim with unknown artifacts. So I've picked up the pace and intend to be home within 2 weeks. Hell, maybe I'll get the chance to celebrate my birthday with my family back home!
