7.5 Billion

I just returned last night with my carrier from Swoilz PK-R b20-0, holding 4313 tonnes of LTDs in its belly. It was a great time mining there, the icy rings of the first planet even had the Borann feeling - dim white light, icy fog around the rocks. Work was almost meditative there, especially compared to Col 285 Sector CC-K a38-2. Col 285 is like digging in the mud - quite fun if you're a dog but rather dirty and depressing when you're a human. But now prices were climbing to new heights again, reaching 1.731 M per tonnes in the Nivati system so I decided to finally return. Being 1200 Ly outside the bubble means three carrier jumps for the way back and three and a half hour of sleep for the commander on the bridge. Never mind, a short night later and thirteen shipments later I had finally sold it all to the communists of Chamitoff Enterprise. I don't know what they want to do with that many diamonds. Make hammer and sickle shine? They paid way too much - but if they knew better, capitalism would flourish there, right?
What's next? Not sure yet. Maybe stock some tea. Prepare a combat vessel. Fight some pirates. Watch people fight and drink more tea. Polish the paint. And then head out into the dark.
