Vox Galactica: Star date 07 Sept 3306

07 Sep 2020CJ_Pryde

Welcome to this week's installment of Vox Galactica. This week focuses on the Pleiades Nebula as recent Thargoid attacks have left the Empire howling for war. Let's get right into it!

Reporting to you fromArc's Faith in HR 1183, this is VolkerX.
Unsettling news has reached the Imperial Emperor concerning recent Thargoid attacks on Imperial convoys. The attacks have also been linked to agents within the much controversial, Aegis Corporation. Many inside the Empire, mainly Nova Imperium, have spoken out against Aegis. Imperator Hadrian Augustus Duval has sent his own pilots from the  Nova Navy to assess the threat in the Pleiades.

Senator Denton Patreus and Emperor Arissa Lavigny-Duval have both taken action as well. Special envoys have been dispatched to Aegis HQ to validate the validity of these accusations. All our attempts to reach out to Aegis have gone unanswered. We will continue to press the situation and get an answer from Aegis' leadership.

The Empire remains strong on continuing SAR operations for unaccounted convoys that have yet to reach their destinations within the Pleiades. Senator Patreus has reassigned Admiral Lindholm and her company to oversee all Imperial operations within the Pleiades and Witch Head Nebulae.

This week's Colonia Affairs is brought to you by CJ Pryde.
The Eagle Sector Inmates have proven too much for the Eagle Sector Guards to handle. The ESG is forced to concede the rock and completely withdraw from the system. The Guards have agreed to withdraw and refrain from further attempts to retake the penal colony.

The Colonia Council has added Amatsuboshi to the list of systems they are withdrawing from to focus on further expansions. The Council has left the system in the hands of the Tenjin Pioneers of Colonia. The Pioneers will continue to receive resources from the Council but in decreased installments.

Sentinel Security has opened up vaccination stations within several starports due to an increased flu outbreak in Pergamon and Deriso. This is not a high level outbreak like we saw with the Cent-01 virus, so lockdown measures have not been instituted.

MiaGoth reporting from Jameson Memorial.
Shinrarta has seen a significant decrease in murders due to increased presence of Sentinel Security ships within the system. Deciat remains on a HIGH travel advisory. A small number of Thargoid ships have been seen in the system due to Meta-Alloy presence. The ongoing debate regarding engineer Felicity Farseer's relocation is picking up steam. Ms Farseer has made it a point to tell citizens wherever she goes, there will always be threats of attacks. This is why citizens want her to move shop to the Pleiades.

That concludes this week's Vox Galactica. Fly safe o7!
