Old Grind, New Friends

The boring hauling world is just the same as I left it, dull. I decided to delve a little into commodity trading to help supplement my income. I’m happy to say I’m monetarily back to where I started before I bought the Curieux. She’s the only thing that’s made these past few days tolerable. Gutamaya definitely knows how to make a ship. She’s a dream to fly. She handles well, the cockpit is nice and roomy, and to top it off she’s easy on the eyes. I don’t regret purchasing her at all. I can’t imagine what their top of the line is like.In other news, I decided to join ranks with the Paladin Consortium. Hopefully, it turns out to be a mutually beneficial relationship. It never hurts to have an organization that you can turn to for some work. It definitely beats doing random jobs for all kinds of different people. They have several different systems and hubs that I can catch work in. Including one that I can simply hide and be my antisocial self. That really nearly sealed the deal right there. A whole system where I can hide and no one will bug me? Sold.
Now that I’m all caught up on money and have an organization to fall back on I can get back to doing what I enjoy. I plan on hopping in the Algier and getting her all nice and upgraded. She definitely needs some FSD upgrades along with a few other things. I might take her on a small excursion. It’ll be good to put the Algier through her paces and also get me back out there. With any luck I’ll find something worth while. I’d definitely like to keep the first to discover or map roll going. It’ll be nice to see something new that isn’t a station.
I should probably hit the star charts and figure out what direction I’m going to head. On second thought, there is sleep. Sleep sounds so much better right now. Cheers!
