...we wont be using her for a few weeks. I got a deal on a well-used one, and it's currently remaining at the docks in Jameson Memorial getting a complete interior retrofit (and decontamination).The base model is just much too cold and clunky and uncomfortable, which I suppose is fine for the military, but military we are not. Her new name will be the ESS Koriand'r, and we will primarily be using her for major mining jobs and exploration, not so much for battle (aside from 'defending' ourselves occasionally), plus business has been really good, so I wanted to add a bit of luxury for the crew (ok fine and for me).
So included on the list of upgrades:
Bridge crew engineer Mayday (Judith William) will head back to Jameson Memorial to oversee Koriand'r's completion and flight tests.
I've already been in contact with Felicity Farseer's team who have agreed to help us de-brickify her when complete...for a price of course. Of course.
And when this project is complete, we will just about be ready to bring in ESS Lady Shiva (Corvette class) for similar upgrades.
Overkill or not, my crew is my family and they are worth it. Heck, I am worth it too.
