Hard Work Pays Off! (Fleet Carrier)

I had written previously in my log about my long road to purchasing a Fleet Carrier. All of the work that goes in to getting the tech and the credits to make a large 5 BILLION credit purchase is one heck of a grind. My target date for being able to purchase a carrier was originally about the end of this month. After I built my Anaconda for AX fighting, my cashflow grew exponentially. I am able to dispatch most Thoids easily now. I have not yet taken down a Hydra, but the rest of them are toast in short order. I was amazed the difference one Enhanced Guardian Shard Cannon would make on a ship build, but it is my favorite gun at the moment. I am unaware if better ones will come out, and what I will do if that happens.
I fought a ton of Thoids over the last couple of weeks and I am happy to say, my threshold for purchasing a carrier has been crossed. My guild mates have been instrumental in guiding me through the grind, and I feel very grateful to them for their patience while I fumbled my way to king of the credit mountain.
That didn't last long though. My credit balance took quite the nose dive, but I am back at trying to build the credit empire once again. Having a carrier opens up a lot of options for me to see new places, and always have my fleet of ships at the ready.
I am still going through the process of moving inventory and ships. I hope to get more modules in the future. Overall, it was a good experience and most of my squad have returned to Elite Dangerous and got involved in the Thoid war. This also makes me happy as I like to play games with my small group of friends.
