Friends Beyond Death: Otis' Revenge for Aleksej

FRIENDS BEYOND DEATHAlthough the respective leaders of the Empire and the Federation have ordered a "ceasefire", and expressed the intention to fight against the Thargoids and not fight each others... some smaller groups and entities that persist in pursuing their own selfish goals and pitting against each other, continue to operate sideways.
The (federal) corporatism, the (imperial) corruption, and the (Alliance) controversies of the minor factions, became increasingly aggressive, and brought many problems to the same major factions with which minor factions are aligned. But there is a man who has never given up, a man who has never bowed down in the face of these galactic plagues... and together with his friends and allies, he pursues his goals without hesitation: Otis Moses!
He has always been the best friend of Aleksej Stukov, the Imperial Archon who died at the hands of the Federal Corporation of Geawenki Travel Commodities. But Otis never stopped believing in his friend and his cause. And so, when the Imperial House of Stukov and the High Command Starfleet (Alto Comando Flotta Stellare) asked for his help, Otis agreed without hesitation to commit to helping them. It was decided more than ever to avenge his friend and defeat Corporatism, Corruption, and Controversy.
For a whole month, Otis and his team have immersed themselves in a lot of informatics operations against the GTC: recon, hacking, cyber attacks, sabotage, spyware installations, data theft and decryption... and other subversive informatics activities of all kinds. In the meantime, and in parallel with these informatics operations, both House Stukov and Starfleet have conducted military and undermining operations against the GTC.
And between one and another operations, Otis finally managed to penetrate and decrypt much of their deep-encrypted network, arriving at an incredible discovery, that Otis did not delay to report even to the senior members of the House of Stukov and Starfleet:
Otis: Grand Duke Regent Dietrich, Prime Minister Melani Cardenas... I really need to speak to you! I found crucial information about the Federal Corporation Geawenki Travel Commodities. And I discovered great news: Aleksej Stukov is alive! I’m not kidding! He is alive... and held prisoner in a GTC-owned Alcatraz-Class Reformatory Megaship. In that ship, not only our dear friend Aleksej is prisoned, but also many other prisoners belonging to the Imperial House of Stukov, Starfleet, and other allies of ours... are prisoned there.
Grand Duke Dietrich: Otis, this is a great news! How did you find this information?
Otis: I worked hard for a whole month, infiltrating in the corporate files and uncovering their assault plans and military intelligence. I also managed to hack the main node of the Deep-Encrypted Network of the corporation, and I found all this information that I promptly reported to you! I was also able to find out everything about the Alcatraz-Class Reformatory Megaship: details of prisoners and guards; cargo manifests; main routes and coordinates of the megaship itself; docking points and loading bays; The exact number and location of the Power Capacitors and Power Nodes, turrets, uplinks... everything!
Melani Cardenas: Great work, Otis! This achievements shows that we were right to rely on you and your team of experts. We knew that a Canonn Researcher like you could lead us to these excellent results. But now, we must act now to save Aleksej and the others people of ours. Do you already have a plan to suggest?
Otis: As mentioned before, from the information collected I got everything you need to know about the megaship, including a detailed map with all internal and external points of interest. After carefully studying all the information, I drew up the following plan to assault it:
12 pilots. 8 combatants and 4 Rescue agents, that will gather in 3 teams:
- 1 Team = Saboteurs: They will sabotage the megaship, destroy its Power Capacitors, disable its Turrets, and completely disable the thrusters and the entire megaship. When the task is completed, they will join the second Team and help them with their task.
- 2° Team = Fighters: They’ll take out of the enemy ships who will try to defend the megaship. They may take down some turret meanwhile they attack the escort, but their priority will remain the enemy ships that defend the Megaship.
- 3° Team = Rescue: They will introduce special forces units inside the megaship. After that, those special forces units will free the prisoners and escort them into the rescue ships. This are armed with defensive turrets, but will have no combat role. They will be supported and defended by the 1st and 2nd team.
After rescuing all the prisoners, Koramund Imperialis will arrive on site to support prisoners's first aid operations. It will be a very dangerous mission, but I think we can make it if we all work together.
Grand Duke Dietrich: I really like this plan. We’re ready to do anything to save Aleksej and our other brothers and sisters prisoned in that flying mega-shit. So, Otis, I have one more request to do for you: Would you be willing to lead the assault? Until now, you’ve been a great coordinator, which is why I think you’re the best person to handle this very important mission!
Otis: I would be honored by that, Grand Duke!
Melani Cardenas: According to information gathered by Otis, the prison megaship will transit from Geawenki to LHS 6103. As it happens, that transit zone is very close to the Pularungu system, where we already have an elite Starfleet S&R team stationed there, ready to intervene in the mission. Therefore we will provide pilots and ships for the recovery and transport of prisoners. But Starfleet will not hesitate to make available even its most valiant pilots, members and soldiers, to ensure victory in this operation... if you want!
Otis: I do not think that will be necessary, Prime Minister Cardenas. You have already done so much for me and my friend Aleksej, and your S&R teams are very renowned in your sectors. So don’t worry. You Starfleet will concentrate on recovery operations. While House Stukov and I will focus on the defence of your ships.
Melani Cardenas: Very well. Before departure from Pularungu, our S&R team will prepare a "refugee camps" for the freed prisoners. At the end of the mission, we will bring all the liberated there, to cure them and freed them permanently.
Gran Duke Dietrich: We are very grateful for your contribution, Minister Cardenas. This demonstrates the great value of Starfleet. Only united, we will achieve victory! And our long friendship has always led us to great results... may it never fall!
We of House Stukov will see to it that none of the Starfleet ships perish in the mission. Our Saboteurs will also be equipped with repair limpet drones to eventually assist the S&R ships in case they suffer too damage. We all have to be focused. The lives of all our friends depend on us. Each one is extremely important, from Aleksej to the most anonymous of the prisoners... they are all important for us. Let’s make sure we save them... all!
Otis: Thank you all for your help. I look forward to freeing Aleksej and our other friends, and ending this nightmare that has lasted too long. A small step for us, a big step towards the elimination of all these galactic plagues. Ready to go!

Nonostante i rispettivi leader dell'Impero e della Federazione abbiano ordinato un cessate il fuoco, ed espresso l'intenzione di combattere i Thargoid piuttosto che combattere tra di loro... alcuni gruppi ed entità minori che si ostinano a perseguire i loro scopi egoistici e a mettere gli uni contro gli altri, continuano ad operare per vie traverse.
Il corporativismo (federale), la corruzione (imperiale) e le controversie (dell'Alleanza) delle loro fazioni minori, divennero sempre più aggressive e portarono molti problemi alle stesse fazioni maggiori con cui le fazioni minori sono allineate. Ma c'è un uomo che non si è mai arreso, un uomo che non si è mai piegato de in antea a codeste piaghe galattiche... ed insieme ai suoi amici ed alleati, persegue senza esitazione i propri obiettivi: Otis Moses!
Lui è stato da sempre il migliore amico di Aleksej Stukov, l'Arconte Imperiale morto per mano della corporazione federale dei Geawenki Travel Commodities. Ma Otis non ha mai smesso di credere nell'amico e nella sua causa. E così, quando il Casato Imperiale Stukov e l'Alto Comando Flotta Stellare hanno chiesto il suo aiuto, Otis ha accettato senza esitazione di impegnarsi per aiutarli. Era deciso più che mai di vendicare l'amico e sconfiggere il Corporativismo, la Corruzione, e le Controversie.
Per un mese intero, Otis e la sua squadra si sono immersi in operazioni informatiche ai danni dei GTC: ricognizioni, hackeraggi, attacchi informatici, sabotaggio dei nodi, furto e decrittazione di dati ed altre attività informatiche sovversive di ogni genere. Nel frattempo e parallelamente a queste operazioni informatiche, sia il Casato Stukov che la Flotta Stellare hanno condotto operazioni militari e di compromissione... sempre ai danni dei GTC.
E tra un'operazione e l'altra, Otis è riuscito infine a penetrare e decrittare gran parte del deep-encrypted network corporativo nemico, giungendo ad una scoperta incredibile, che Otis non ha tardato a riferire anche agli alti esponenti del Casato Stukov e della Flotta Stellare:
Otis: Granduca Reggente Dietrich, Ministro di Flotta Cardenas, ho bisogno di parlarvi. Ho trovato informazioni cruciali riguardo alla Corporazione Federale Geawenki Travel Commodities. Ed ho scoperto una notizia grandiosa: Aleksej Stukov è vivo! Non sto scherzando! Lui è vivo... ed è tenuto prigioniero in una Alcatraz-Class Reformatory Megaship di proprietà dei GTC. In quella nave, non vi è detenuto solamente il nostro carissimo amico Aleksej, ma anche molti altri prigionieri appartenenti al Casato Imperiale Stukov, alla Flotta Stellare, e ad altri nostri alleati.
Granduca Dietrich: Otis, questa è una grandissima notizia! Come hai fatto a trovare queste informazioni?
Otis: Ho lavorato sodo per un mese intero, infiltrandomi tra le file della corporazione e scoprendo i loro piani d'assalto e intelligence militare. Sono riuscito anche a violare il nodo principale del Deep-Encrypted Network della corporazione, ed ho trovato tutte queste informazioni che vi ho riportato prontamente! Sono riuscito anche a risalire a tutto ciò che riguarda quella Alcatraz-Class Reformatory Megaship: dati anagrafici dei detenuti e delle guardie; manifesti di carico; rotte e coordinate principali della megaship stessa; punti d'attracco e baie di carico; numero e posizione esatta delle torrette e dei condensatori di energia... tutto di tutto!
Melani Cardenas: Ottimo lavoro, Otis! Questo dimostra che abbiamo fatto benissimo ad affidarci a te e alla tua squadra di esperti informatici. Sapevamo che uno scienziato dei Canonn come te poteva condurci a questi ottimi risultati. Ma ora, dobbiamo agire subito per salvare Aleksej e gli altri. Hai già un piano da suggerire?
Otis: Come accennato poco fa, dalle informazioni raccolte ho ottenuto tutto ciò che bisogna conoscere della megaship, tra cui anche una mappa dettagliata con tutti i punti d'interesse, interni ed esterni. Dopo aver studiato attentamente tutte le informazioni, ho elaborato il seguente piano per assaltarla:
12 Piloti, 8 da combattimento e 4 da salvataggio, si riuniranno in 3 team:
- 1° Team = Sabotatori: Loro si occuperanno di sabotare la meganave, distruggendone i condensatori energetici e le torrette, e disabilitandone completamente i propulsori. L'intera meganave verrà disabilitata e messa fuori uso. Quando il loro compito è ultimato, si uniranno al secondo Team e li aiuteranno con il loro compito.
- 2° Team = Fighters: Loro invece faranno fuori tutte le navi nemiche che cercheranno di difendere la meganave. Possono anche abbattere qualche torretta mentre attaccano la scorta, ma la loro priorità rimarrà il combattimento tra navi e la difesa delle navi di salvataggio.
- 3° Team = Rescue: Loro, infine, si occuperanno di introdurre unità delle forze speciali all'interno della megaship, incaricate di liberare e scortare i prigionieri alle navi di salvataggio. Quelle navi saranno armate di torrette difensive, ma non avranno alcun ruolo di combattimento. Saranno sostenuti e difesi dalla 1° e 2° team.
Dopo aver salvato tutti i prigionieri, la Koramund Imperialis giungerà sul posto a supporto delle operazioni di primo soccorso ai prigionieri. Sarà una missione molto pericolosa, ma credo che possiamo farcela se collaboriamo tutti insieme.
Granduca Dietrich: Questo piano mi piace moltissimo. Siamo pronti a fare qualsiasi cosa per salvare Aleksej e gli altri nostri fratelli e sorelle bloccate in quel mega-cesso volante. Perciò, Otis, ho un ulteriore richiesta da farti: te la sentiresti di guidare tu stesso l'assalto? Fino ad'ora, ti sei dimostrato un ottimo coordinatore, ragion per cui ti reputo la persona più adatta a gestire questa missione importantissima!
Otis: Ne sarei onorato, Granduca!
Melani Cardenas: Stando alle informazioni di Otis, la megaship prigione transiterà da Geawenki a LHS 6103. Si dia il caso che si trovi molto vicino al sistema di Pularungu, dove abbiamo già una squadra d'elite S&R della Flotta stanziata in quelle zone, pronta ad intervenire nella missione. Perciò metteremo noi a disposizione piloti e navi per il recupero e trasporto dei prigionieri. Ma la Flotta non esiterà a mettere a disposizione anche i suoi piloti, membri e soldati più valorosi, pur di assicurarsi la vittoria in questa operazione... se volete!
Otis: Non credo sarà necessario, Ministro Cardenas. Avete fatto già tantissimo per me e il mio amico Aleksej, e le vostre squadre di S&R sono molto rinomate nei vostri settori. Perciò, non temete. Voi concentratevi pure sulle operazioni di recupero, mentre alla difesa e ad Aleksej, ci penseremo io ed il Casato Stukov.
Melani Cardenas: Molto bene. Prima della partenza da Pularungu, il nostro team S&R preparerà un "campo profughi" per i prigionieri liberati. Alla fine della missione, porteremo lì tutti i liberati, per curarli e liberarli definitivamente.
Granduca Dietrich: Siamo molto grati per il vostro contributo, Ministro Cardenas. Questo dimostra il gran valore della Flotta Stellare. Solo uniti, conseguiremo la vittoria! E questa nostra lunga amicizia ci ha sempre condotto ad ottimi risultati... possa non vacillare mai!
Noi del Casato Stukov ci accerteremo che nessuna delle navi della Flotta perisca nella missione. I nostri Sabotatori saranno equipaggiati anche con droni riparatori per assistere eventualmente le navi S&R in caso subiscano qualche danno di troppo. Tutti noi dobbiamo essere concentrati sulla riuscita di questa missione. La vita e la libertà di tutti i nostri amici imprigionati dipende da noi. Ognuno è estremamente importante, da Aleksej al più anonimo dei prigionieri... sono tutti importanti per noi. Assicuriamoci di salvarli... tutti quanti!
Otis: Grazie a tutti voi per il vostro aiuto. Non vedo l'ora di liberare Aleksej e gli altri nostri amici, e porre fine a questo incubo durato fin troppo. Un piccolo passo per noi, un grande passo verso la liberazione dalle piaghe galattiche. Pronti a partire!
