Exploration update: Limping to Colonia Bridge

Well....What an adventure!

Having burned out on the Thargoid war, I stomped off (sulking, after getting a fine for accidentally killing and NPC Cannon affiliation ship) into the Black. And decided to try to earn a lot of cash and up my exobiology rank by scanning strange and wonderful biologicals lifeforms.

Before I knew it I was 13,500 lightyears lost in the Norma expanse with 73 biological lifeforms scanned. I was really enjoying myself, And then accident no.1- I blasted into the ground, and dropped my hull to 87%. well, that was a sign to return home. and I set a course for Tewanta- 234 jumps till home

25 jumps and more enjoyable scanning (not at 110) I lost concentration and faceplanted a planet- now my hull is at 24%. I chased a couple of fleet carriers around to no avail and so I decided to go to the Colonia Bridge- well I did support Brewer's corp in the cg. Why not? And only 88 jumps- better than the 210 I faced!

So, all was going well until I lost concentration and got too close to a star- my heat rose to 200% and my hull crashed to 7%! Still 31 jumps to go!!!!

13 jumps later and I hit a star- quite literally I think! One of those systems where you enter and already your heat is burning up. Panicked and hit speed- down to 3% hull. Was I ever going to get there?

Thankfully yes! The most tentative, slow, careful and pathetic landing ever and all my hull is repaired. Bonus- there was an interstellar factor to pay off my dirty deeds. So, went to the bar to relax.

Now, the question is....it's still 93 jumps to Tewanta. Do I just blast back and cash the cash....or shall I explore some more?
Do you like it?
