It has been a while since I did my last log. After we had landed at our last planet, we had some mechanical issues with the drive. As a result we were stuck there for the past few days. That really put a dent in our schedule unfortunately. While the crew hurried to fix the problem they also installed a new ship AI named Eden. She is a nice addition to the trip, with a little bit more personality than Astra.
On a good note we managed to make it to our first destination, Traikoa FL-P E5-4. This system was right in the heart of the beautiful Traikoa nebula. Surrounded by blue and pink gasses and at the heart of it all was a massive black hole. The distortion effects were quite astonishing, in fact I still have a slight headache from it. After our friendly scientist got the data he needed we continued to set off. Unfortunately the luxury to dilly dally is no longer an option we must keep moving to our next destination, SKAUDE AA-A H294.
Near by is the Omega Nebula which I hope to explore in depth some day along with the beautiful cluster of blue stars right next to it. A cluster I have come to nick name the Lazuli cluster. I have been in there once before on an old expedition but only to pass through. I'm sure by now many other explorers have already left there mark, none the less I would like to go there. Maybe on the next trip out.
Currently we have taken refuge in the BLAE DRYE QT-Q E5-1 System on planet 4. We got lucky landing as it is a wopping 2.38G's and we nearly lost our shields getting in. I hope we don't have any more mechanical issues or we might be stuck here for a bit.
Our current location on this planet is:
-3.7701
136.9196
