Those scientist bastards! They had no intention of fulfilling this contract, they just wanted to get where they wanted and abandon ship. On our way to the last destination I stumbled upon a never before seen neutron star. Unfortunately in my awed stupor, I got too close and was pulled out of cruise. Of course my ship would end up over heating exponentially when trying to jump away from the spiraling death torrent, bringing my hull down to 65%. That was all those cut throat scientists needed to pack up and leave. Before I knew it an alarm went off saying unauthorized access to the escape pod bays, and off they were. I hope they land right in the middle of the neutron star. Guess there goes my pay day. If anyone receives this transmission, those scientists are floating somewhere in the Eord Flyuae EV-V C3-584 system, little did they know there are no planetary bodies nearby, guess there in for a long ride in space. In total I think I lost 150 million in mission rewards, hopefully the scans that I have make up for that.
So now the plan is to just survive, and get this ship home before she rips apart with us inside. That neutron star really did a number on the hull, and she's not afraid to remind you of that. Each jump ends with a screeching noise of the hull stress. As long as I'm careful, I should be able to make it back home. Engineering has done miracle keeping this ship together, but I feel that we are getting close to the bottom of the miracle bag if you know what I am saying.
This will be the last transmission till we get back to space dock in Cemiess. Should take us no more than 4 days to get back from the time of this transmission. If you do not hear from us in that time, well, its probably best to just assume the worst... I would like to say send a rescue, however with space being so vast, and how far away we are, I feel a rescue would be futile.
