The roof!

A while back I joined the Pilot's Trade Network. Can't remember if I recorded that before, but I did. Been keeping an eye on their comms, and recently heard talk of another "Booze Cruise" cropping up soon - and decided why not, might as well board one of their sleeper carriers ready to run up to the roof of the galaxy when Rackham wants his booze! Well, yesterday I'd finished some of the damn paperwork I've been accumulating about 1700, had a glance at comms and hoo boy, the peak is calling!

P.T.N. Stargazer (reg. T2B-GKF) was about to depart, so I disembarked my new cargo Python (full of wine) I'd brought on board, and wandered around the concourse. Met some commanders also taking the trek up, one had never been on a carrier before, and we chatted before watching the spectacle of the jump from the observation deck. But, for the six hour journey, I one jump merges into the next, so I retired into the (surprisingly plush, new-smelling) quarters of the Python, and decided to learn a new piece from another ancient orchestral piece. Halo, and I've got to say the percussion is damn awesome.
But anyway, that was several hours ago. We've been at the peak for about four or five hours now, and I've been ferrying unfathomable quantities of wine from carriers to Rackham's Peak that I'm unsure how there isn't a red haze seeping into the surrounding space of the station!
But most excitedly - I've just surpassed 3 billion. Woah. Mum's gonna be happy. And with thirty-ish hours left on this (profitable) holiday, hopefully that carrier is low below the horizon...
