Anticipating Thargoids might use some new tactics and weaponry after their victory at HIP 22460, to retaliate some of the earlier deeds of humanity, I asked the AspX of the company for personal use. Tiffany kindly handed over the keys, as I said I wanted to get away for a while. How are you two and sis doing now?
All Tiffany asked was that I write back every now and then, and that I do some exploring while on my way. The profits from it will go to the company, she demanded. So I don't get to own my own ship yet. Hope you got the postcards via Inara and Pilot's Federation.
On my latest stop at the DSSA Paradox Destiny, I heard of some Guardian Ruins, and did some driving around there. I sent a picture a while back via Inara. More when I get back. Anyway, the news of Thargoid fleets in the bubble and some new type of huge Tharg machines approaching from Elysian Shore/Sanguineous Rim caught me up while in there. This would have been the rest of the circumnavigation of Inner Orion Spur , seeking places for humans to move if they want. I have found several, but maybe it's best to make a stand in the Bubble. The company ships have never shot a thargoid, so maybe they won't do it to us either. No doubt they keep some record of their losses like we do with pirates.
Then I managed to do a 'heylindh' and damaged the ship when attempting to land in the dark, not realising the crater bottom can be tilted. Then there was no way I could attempt to fly to Heart and Soul like I intended. Neither did the existence of new Thargoid machines On The Way incite a willingness to continue. Thus. I did not want to fly the 1KLy back to Paradox away from home so my last leg of true exploration was to get back to the inhabited space. Avoiding any nebulas and other thargoid areas.
This meant I took the Coreside route towards the Colonia Bridge. Now I'm back with civilization though I still have 3000 Lys to get back home. Hope all is well with you. See you some time next month, I'm pretty exhausted now from having to fly 9KLys in 5 days. I'm coming home.
Bye for now
