September 25th 3308As I was sitting in my chair overlooking the bridge the comms officer reported that there was some traffic surrounding the disappearance of the cmdr in charge of the carrier TMFS Distant Horizons which is currently stationed in the system that was rumored to be cursed. I then told my captain, Adina Harris, to initiate a jump to the system to assist with rescue operations. I then got into contact with Captain Alfredo Binder of the TMFS Distant Horizons to set up a time to discuss the situation regarding the missing cmdr. The captain mentioned that communications originating from the system were not as reliable as usual despite the equipment working just fine and as intended so a distress beacon, if any, might not be picked up right away. I just hope we find the missing cmdr before he ends up dead.
