September 26th, 3308I boarded the TMFS Distant Horizons to talk to Captain Alfredo Binder about the missing cmdr. As I was talking to the captain about where to start looking the comms officer reported that they were receiving a signal matching the missing cmdr’s ship. Me and the captain looked at the signal coming in and it appears to be a distress pulse coming from one of the first three planets surrounding the A star in the system. The captain ordered the comms officer to try to isolate the signal further and to send a reply acknowledging the signal and asking for his current location. At least we now have an idea to his whereabouts.
