November 6th, 3308The repair crews reported that they have repaired the water production system and one of the water storage holds. I sighed in relief knowing a major water crisis has been avoided but water consumption should be reduced where possible until repairs are complete to avoid overwhelming our water system. I closed down the water buy order since we could produce our own water again and put up buy orders for platinum, painite, and osmium again to help increase the area’s metal supply. I put the buy orders at 100k/ton in hopes it would attract some attention from nearby miners. Security ruled out sabotage and reported that the explosion was caused by a system malfunction that got out of control before the maintenance teams were able to fix it even though they were all over it the instant the malfunction occurred. I’ve been assured that measures will be put into place to ensure something like this won’t happen again. The last thing we need is a malfunction that takes out the entire carrier.
