I finally made it to the center of the galaxy! It was a long and perilous journey, but I'm glad I did it. I saw some amazing sights along the way, like nebulae, black holes, and even some alien ruins. I also met some friendly explorers who shared their tips and stories with me. They helped me out when I ran into trouble with pirates, malfunctions, or fuel shortages.
The trip from Sol to Sagittarius A* took me about three weeks, with some detours and stops. I used a ASP Explorer outfitted with a 50-ly jump range, a fuel scoop, an AFMU, and a SRV. I also brought some weapons and shields, just in case.
I visited some interesting systems along the way. I also scanned a lot of planets and stars, hoping to find some undiscovered ones. I was lucky enough to find a few Earth-like worlds and water worlds that no one had seen before. I named them after my friends and family, as a tribute to them.
The highlight of the trip was reaching Sagittarius A*, the supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy. It was an awe-inspiring sight, a massive sphere of darkness surrounded by a bright accretion disk. I got as close as I could without risking my ship, PJ SOLO, and took some pictures and videos. I also honked my discovery scanner, just for fun.
After spending some time at Sagittarius A*, I decided to head to Colonia, the nearest human settlement. It was another long journey, but not as hard as the first one. I arrived at Jaques Station yesterday, and docked my ship. I was greeted by a friendly voice that welcomed me to Colonia and congratulated me on my achievement. I felt a surge of pride and relief.
I'm now enjoying some well-deserved rest and relaxation at Colonia. I plan to stay here for a while, and explore the surrounding region. There are some interesting places to visit here, like the Colonia Nebula, the Dove Enigma megaship, and the Skaudai Nebula. I also want to meet some of the locals and learn more about their culture and history.
I don't know when I'll return to Sol, or if I ever will. Maybe I'll settle down here in Colonia, or maybe I'll continue exploring the galaxy. There's still so much to see and do out there. But whatever happens, I'll never forget this trip as one of the best experiences of my life.
