CMDR’s Log - A few days ago the war seemed like it was almost over, and then the reports flooded in that it was a lie. Almost overnight the resurgence of the Thargoids in many systems was overwhelming. I fought in a couple of systems with other CMDRs slaughtering as many of the space flowers as we could until I had to withdraw.It seems I had to refit my anti-xeno ships to reinforce weaknesses exploited by the space flowers. So, today I spent the day grinding the materials needed in various systems. I hate with a passion the never ending grind for engineering materials. It’s mind numbing! However, the job was completed easily with help from a report from CMDR Hawkes and CMDR Raine!
Also, a shout out to CMDR Mechan and CMDR Buur on their reports on ship builds on fighting these bugs! Well, tonight I rest and tomorrow it’s back into the war! When this is finally over it’s back into the void for me and my crew. I miss my exploration days and it hasn’t been that long ago since being back home. War is an ugly thing, messes with one’s mind, and it’s completely draining; however, one must do what must be done to save his home!
