My rovers have been shot to hell. By a bunch of f…mmm drones who only appear on your scanners when They fire at you.
Guardian metal apparently gives no heat signatures and neither does their propulsion. If you don’t lock on to them quickly they disappear from your targeting scanner.
But keep firing.
Oh
Did I mention that they had missals?
Yeah well they do
And they surround you
Fire on your ship
Pissed me off so bad I had to make a beeline for my ship and get airborne to shoot them all down. After further poking about. I discovered that between two and three drones pop up out of underground factories that have deploy points all over the site. When you drive over one it releases the drone. I will have to do some further mapping and experiments at my own peril to find out how many there actually are and what triggers the aggressive response.
I would give almost anything to be able to go underground and see what’s going on down there. Something has to be manufacturing these things and automating them. Meaning there has to be a data core that is still functioning there somewhere. I wish someone would come down here with some real excavation equipment.
