With at least one ship fully engineered I broke protocol and decided to visit the beacons.
Oh my God!
These things are immense
Magical
a living, breathing relic that calls to you in space
And seems to be fully functional.
My own preliminary findings are like nothing I have seen reported anywhere! And I've looked.
First of all,
they are all next to Europa-ish ice planets. Possibly because it uses the reflective surface of the planet to boost and recieve or moniter signals. Like a satellite dish.
Second
They’re all enveloped in smoke clouds of gas or dust. These gaseous type clouds are the only thing floating in the vicinity and the beacons are in the center. When the beacon fully deploys the entire Cloud illuminates, causing enough light to actually reflect on the surface of the planet.
Sending signals every time it's activated.
And third. They are covered with markings. Diagrams. And those triangular patterns from the relic towers. Seems to be some kind of coordinate or number system. I can’t tell.
It partially activates once you come into proximity of it. Once fully activated, it produces an intense magnetic field that makes it impossible to get close enough for any real examination of the computer core.
It spits out one set of coordinates if you try to access it Then the entire system shuts down.
Releasing a Crystal guardian key fron the top.
It is obviously capable of far more!
And probably contains more data than a megaship computer.
Why hasn’t more research gone into this? That computer core is half the size of my ship.
Ram tah needs to release what he knows about the Guardian language.
And these constructs need to be dissected by scientists.
In the meantime
I have my key and images
And we will be doing our own homework
