After a month of trying to acclimate myself to new tech, correcting in all my bindings, replacing all of the missing equipment, and a two month hiatus from the logs, I now feel like we are back on track.
Nothing could’ve prepared me for the magic. I was about to experience, however. Actually standing at the sites. Watching the pylons come up from the ground. Reaching out and touching a sentinel without it firing on you. I am re-discovering the love for what I do. But seemingly not without consequences.
The first time I got past the drones, I assumed it was because I was too small to be noticed out of my srv. But as soon as I activated some thing, they came after me. Forcing me back to my ship eventually to take them out in my fighter.
The sentinels here are more focused and more aggressive. And they adapt to your movements unlike before.
One thing I did notice was that the light patterns given off by the sentinels are much harder to see on PC, but they are there.
The Sentinels have a light pattern that they show in sequence. There are five different steps in this sequence that highlight different parts of the navigational information on the sentinel's body. This pattern combination has never changed and the lights seem to connect very specific symbols to a stepped process.
coincidentally these are the same symbols that decorate the complex they occupy. Tying them specifically to the structures.
And this was just a hint of everything we've been working on.
All of the structures that we examined seemed to have working machine parts with no power. These are laid out in a geometric Style set of markers hinting at navigation, physics, and orbital mechanics.
The long-standing rumor has been that these are dormant spaceships left on standby on different planets.
I do not believe this is the case. Many of the structures are far too large for spacecraft, and they don’t have any mounted surface weapons. And the transmission towers operate on proximity based nanotech like the rest of the complex. Hinting that it's self-reliant Tech.
but the evidence does suggest that these complexes completely change shape.
Our first preliminary examinations revealed a few sockets that were not fully exposed, and a strange set of orientations for the relic towers.
These orientations differ from the ones we find at the ruins. After fully examining the amount of images we had, we discovered that the navigational information was mired completely in orbital mechanics and the timing of system mechanics.
But not separately, literally as a single entity these things are combined to give the onlooker directions. Meaning it is difficult to tell where the mechanics end and the directions begin or even the description of what you are looking for.
And some of the iconography has been really difficult to crack. Big surprise. It's alien.
During our investigations, it has become clear that the entire complex is one large machine. A machine witch appears to utilize an independent power source that does not rely on the pylons or the central core. Either that, or we have failed as a player base to flip the correct switch For the rest of the complex to power up from the same source.
Given that the large, complicated transmissions towers seem to be rooted in Nanotech, we think the possibility does exist that upon activation, these things, draw power wirelessly from the rest of the net work, and transform into some kind of large receiver, in order to accommodate such power.
But the evidence does suggest that the entire complex completely changes shape in the same way the beacons do, exposing open sockets for artifacts that will power certain aspects of its programming.
The most notable sockets are found in the joints of the Arches around the complex which appear to have interchangeable parts even though there are clearly three different types. And the complexes with bunkers have two round slots in front of the bunker doors that appear to be ejection platforms for computer cores as opposed to sockets for artifact placement.
While we don’t believe that these could be starships, we do believe that some of these could be the giant lumbering constructs that we read about in the logs. The size of some of the complexes do fall in line with those particular descriptions. And there is a complete lack of evidence anywhere else. At least so far.
But still, these Revelations have shocked me.
The placement of all destructible panels seems specific and deliberate. Some of them deliberately attached to already existing structure elements to power whatever process is there. Some on interlocking parts, and some on parts that obviously open when activated. And the placement of the artifacts around the sites is extremely specific and these two elements seem to work in conjunction with the placement , and alignment of The Relic Towers.
All of this on a platform of navigational and orbital mechanics built on what looks like a giant directional marker.
And every single thing at these sites has its own meaning and suits a purpose.
These structures are not housing or buildings. They are parts of a mechanism or a transformable machine that links to a vast Network of other transformable tech. Our best guess is that some of these structures transform into Communications arrays when fully active and some of the others may actually transform into constructs of some kind.
The evidence is clear that the dormant State they are currently in has lasted ages suggesting they have not had power for some time. Since the energy pylons are not powering the device or any movement outside of the central complex there is only one thing left to deduce. They require wireless energy connections with the network in order to power up and function.
With all of the layers on the layers of alignments we keep finding this thing is like a giant interactive astrometric puzzle but on a species level , and we now believe more than ever process of understanding, and activating this entire network lies in the processes written out in the ruins themselves.
The GSC currently has 3 teams in the field among several individuals.
we also have a carriers that are mapping locked areas for any evidence of more guardian civilization.
I will keep you posted on that. I also wanted to let you know that we finally got all of our images back from the ruins and I will be pouring over them for the next few weeks. I will let you know if I finally crack the pattern there.
And, as with all things, I will keep you posted on any progress we make
