CMDR PAUSANIAS - THE SHIP OF THE MIND EXPEDITION - DAY 154 - 5 MONTHS IN THE BLACK!

PROBABLY MY LAST LOGBOOK ENTRY FOR A WHILE AS I RETURN HOMEHi Cmdrs,
This log entry will probably be my last for a while as I am currently heading for home in the Jumpaconda.
I started today 1500 light years from ASURA, my target system. I jumped The Carl Sagan twice this morning and then got into the Asp to finish the journey.
I sent the Carrier to ASURA first and then set off after it scanning every system looking for a Tritium hotspot. Out of the 8 jumps I found one about 5 jumps in. The planet had 3 hotspots in its rings. I pinged it.
I then continued to the target system and upon arriving I found a Notable Stellar Phenomena! I’ve been all that way and find another in the ‘back yard’!
This one had THREE different phenomena in it. See the following photos . . .
PRASINUM METALLIC CRYSTALS
LUTEOLUM MUSHROOM MOLLUSCS
and SOLID MINERAL SPHERES (Space Balls!)
I also shot some video so you can hear the sounds these make.
Quite interesting really considering what I could have found out there in the Black, but didn’t!
Once I’d finished this I went to the Carrier and handed in 8,500,000 credits for the journey I’d just done and whilst there I turned on the SHIPYARD and a REDEMPTION OFFICE. This cost me 400,000,000 credits but whilst I was transferring funds I moved a whole half a billion over to the Carrier.
I also set up a buy order for 2500 tons of Tritium.
I swapped to the Jumpaconda for the journey home and took off. I then sent the Carrier back to the Tritium hotspot I’d found, right next to the planet.
The idea is that if someone finds the Tritium hotspot they’ll find The Carl Sagan next to it where they’ll get paid 50,000 per ton. Once the buy order for 2500 is complete I’ll have enough Tritium to get the Carrier back to the Bubble at some point in the future.
Once all this was sorted I set a course for the Colonia 6 waypoint going back to the Bubble, 60 jumps, I arrived and handed in 7,500,000 credits.
The next stage is the Colonia 5 waypoint, 41 jumps, I’ve arrived there tonight and handed in 1,500,000 there.
I’m stopping here on the base tonight, it’s strange being around society again after 5 months away.
All I’m going to do now is jump back to the 4 remaining waypoints and get to the Bubble so I’ll end my logs here.
