The more of these ships I visit the sadder the stories seem to get. The flight logs for this one indicated that at some point in her voyage, the life support failed. By that time the ship was locked on to autopilot and the AI was not active aboard. When the system arrived the autopilot attempted to alert the crew to take over, after repeated attempts to have itself deactivated the autopilot requested that the ships onboard AI be brought online. At this time the AI discovered the truth, Achlys was a ghost ship. The AI brought the ship into a geostationary orbit around their destination world a beautiful earth like. It then went into sleep mode awaiting further instructions.
