According to the logs, religious fervor surrounding a ten-year-old boy took root on the ship as they traveled. The fervor grew unchecked to the point that the acolytes of Zachariah no longer recognized the commander as an authority figure. During a serious altercation, the zealots vented the Commander to space. The crew who did not convert went along to survive unfortunately the promised land they were to be delivered to was the vacuum of space. They all went to their promised land, the last log on the ship indicates that a request to vent the ship to space was made and an override was granted.
