Five years into the mission a series of system failures left the ship on the drift with only power for the bio-systems. 180 years later the crew had devolved into four groups that represented the original divisions of the ships: the Mechanics, the Peacekeepers, the Colony, and the Cultivators. The four tribes' war took place on the ship. Another 180 years on the tribe named Mechlords seems to have control of the vessel. It seems even 160 more years later they clung to hope. The crew only expected them to last 20 years or so. They survived over 500 on a disabled ship!
