Initial logs indicate nothing out of the ordinary except that a strain of influenza was running through the ship that was resistant to their vaccines. The flu became completely resistant and it quickly spread through the ship. It turned out that a scientist who was injured on an EVA was the host for the strain. When the chief immunologist died they lost hope and the ship broke out in riots. In the end, it wiped them all out.
