Carriers....god these are damn expensive. But I think overall it will be worth it. I have moved all my ships and equipment to the carrier and it is now my full base of operations. It does give me some flexibility I never had and opened some of my ships cargo spaces up where I used to carry fuel scoops. Ohh sure I will be still using them on many ships but some wont be operating that far from the carrier so there really is no longer need to take up the space. Plus... If I get stranded I got a whole crew on a carrier that can come rescue me! Yeah it will be an expensive rescue but what the heck why not?
I had a friend dock on the deck of the BEER HANGAR and went out and did a quick EVA to take a photo. Dang looks good from out there. I also did a quick plug for the new Aces Wild Space Beer sold on the Carrier. Why did I call my carrier the BEER HANGAR? Well no matter where we set up operations we always have a pilots lounge that we call the "Beer Hangar" so when I got the the carrier and was tossing around ideas for the name someone suggested it. Right off I was enamored with the name. Plus who else in the galaxy has a carrier called that? Love it. Anyway I need to get back to work one of our systems is under attack and we need to go show these Honoss Dominion folks who is in charge.
