Originally a respected MechWarrior Online mil-sim mercenary unit.  Some of us got bored with being trapped on the ground and dreamed of traveling the stars. Many of us did just that and continue to expand our influence in the Elite Dangerous universe.  We retain the traditions of fun and learning of our origin.  We also made many friendships in that process, and continue those relationships in this universe with other Elite Dangerous Squadrons, by forming the COMSTAR Coalition.

We actively want to help others learn and enjoy the game and get better.  If you are new and needing a place to play and grow you will find us a good fit.  If you are a grizzled Elite veteran and looking for a fun and laid back group to play with we are definitely what you are looking for.

Some of the things we can teach you about:
- Back Ground Simulation or BGS. The engine behind the scenes that makes all those factions in each system work.
- Trade - we can show you how to use Inara and other resources to find the best trade routes if space trucking is your interest.
- Exploration - Want to travel the black and never come back but miss socializing with other pilots while you do it. Swing by and say hi!
- Xeno Biology
- Combat PvE - We can help you build your ships so that you will be scourge of pirates and a king in any conflict zone.
- Combat PvP - We have access to PvP instructors.
- Combat AX - Dont like the bugs? Well we can show you how to gear up your ships to take them on!
- Combat Ground - Need to get your guns and suits leveled up? We know how to do that too!
- Mining - We can show you how to mine from laser mining, to cracking open asteroids to get at their hidden gems!

We ask that all new applicants come and play with us on discord for a bit before we accept them into the squadron.
