The long road ahead...

23 Jan 2019SkyeGuy
My god have we come so far.

It's tough being an admiral somedays - managing your staff, ensuring your fleet is in good working order, concocting and devising the next squadron movement; they all have their ups and downs.

But god-damn, am I proud of where we've come to today. Having taken our first ground station, we are just *that* much closer to gaining control over our beloved Polyakov Dock. For too long have we been stuck, taking orders and listening to the laws set by a foreign power from a foreign system. The Vision Group is a plague on my soul and on my family - I wish I had never gone to the Naval Academy at Reynolds Holdings....but that's a story for a different time.

Progress is accelerating - with more new squadron commanders we are able to help more people, secure more salvage, and provide more security & resources for our people. The voice of democracy is getting stronger, and stronger - to the point where I think it will inevitably bring about a civil war.

Of course non-violent methods are preferred, but try telling that to a couple of excessively greedy corporate parasites. Good thing is combat is where my men excel - if they dare threaten us we will bury them in their screams within the cold vacuum of space. They fucking deserve it.

I long for the day when LHS 1928 is returned to local control; but thanks to my men it may be occurring sooner than I think.
