The "shock division" of the Galactic Federation. The 91st IC carries out the missions that other wings simply lack the firepower, skills, tactics, or discretion to complete on their own. Specialized in combat and reconnaissance / hostage extraction. Feats of exploration & operations to support our local system & expansion are frequent, upon mission assignment by our Squadron Commanders.

The 91st IC is usually the first wing in, hitting hard and fast, whilst other supporting and specialized wings follow. The Corps harkens back to the early days of human exploration - with roots dating back to WWII and military special forces groups of the era. Some commanders within the Corps have lineages dating back to members of the 75th Ranger Regiment, the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta, and even the Special Air Service. Some say that the Corps galactic presence and military prowess is because of the eons of experience carried forward through the generations, but others say it is due to a strong internal framework and good leadership.

Renowned across the Milky Way for their personal feats of exploration, many commanders will venture out to the greatest reaches of the unknown - discovering and mapping systems for the first time in humanities great history amongst the stars.

Those who are privileged to fly with the 91st have a mantra, a motto, if you will.
