After months of battling the Thargoid invaders, I can get a rest: the Thargoids seem to be leaving the Bubble alone. I have set up a third base of operations in Tewanta. There is a nice cooperative faction there, The Buurian Protectorate, that are doing good things. They are fighting dictators, ridding the area of pirates, and make a damned fine pastry. They are also researchers and ecologists, undertaking studies not to build weapons or turn a quick profit, but to understand life in the galaxy. This is the first time somewhere really has felt like home in years. I may hang around. But for now, I am taking one of their scientists on a research trip: we'll be studying a large earth like world from orbit. They say it is to gather information about ecologies under gravities different from 1g, which will be useful for setting up nature reserves in future.
