Fighting w/ CoPilot DarthChicken

The base was gone, gone completely when I awoke. Wierd. I'd slept for almost a whole day. Mejia of the FR Michief left a nasty message that I had failed to deliver and complete one of the missions.
I immediately left for Rho Indo - Erikson Retreat.
I delivered all the goods to Rho Indo successfully
One NPC made an attempt to interdict me.
Ford's Folly was difficult to find it did not show on the system map.
But I located it and made a efficient apprach and landing and delivered the data on time.
Tapai Jet Engery at Ford's Folly needs food to source and deliver.
I then hurried to Yimanbin - landed at Linsey Hub and made that delivery on time.

the trip has been very rushed but so far I have only failed on one delivery, for the FR Michief. But my relations are still friendly so it is all good.
From here my itinerary is as follows
- Boom data 1hr 48min Shirazi Tatapai
- Deliver Liquor 3hr 3min Carrasco - Fuelum
- Geological samples 3D 9H 15min Carrasco - Fuelum
- Deliver Aluminum 19hr 37min Carrasco - Fuelum
06:42hr Phillifent's Inheritance - Nui Indi
- Was successful in completing all of the above missions on time. DarthChicken took the telepresence second seat part way through the travels. He provided gunner oversight for the trip to Tatapai and stayed for the big finish at Fuelum. I got the comms working on my end, but Darth had to type. It is interesting that he was the last CMDR in that seat yesterday and by random chance the only multi-crew member I had tonight.
- After the mission payouts we jumped out to Nu Indi to hang about the Compromised Nav Beacon with the intent to pick a fight. As we arrived I noticed that I still had some commodities in the cargo hold that I shoudl have sold before hunting. black box, personal effect and other stuff. I thought briefly that I should first sell the stuff somewhere, but I didn't want to bore my co-pilot with the detour after promising him some combat. (Forgive me Darth if your are a 'her' instead of a 'him') The first victim was in a Cobra M1V and quickly reduced our shields, we ran for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally when we had built up our shield and reengaged. But each time she quickly tore our shields away with her lazers. Eventually she broke pursuit and we used supercruise to travel back to the beacon.
- The second ship we attacked was an Imperial Eagle and she was far too fast and agile. We managed to bring her shields down before she downed ours. But after our shields were down she used some sort of weapon that very quickly destroyed us.
- So here I am the outpost in Nui Indi, wishing I had made a trip to sell my cargo before seeking combat. Note to self: Don't start a battle with a hold full of goods.
