Interplanetary Explorations (IPX) is a tight knit, dedicated PwP (Player with Player) Squadron. We promote cooperation between CMDRs and other squadrons and eschew PvP interactions in favour of being a positive influence on the Galaxy.

As a result, we have just one hard rule: No CMDR carrying the title of IPX Potential or Freelancer should ever fire on another CMDR unless in defense of themselves or a wingmate.

Our primary focus is exploration (as the name suggests) but also community driven events like expeditions, memorials, races or competitions. We took our current form following the Enigma Expedition and were the core of the Distant Worlds 2 PlayStation organisation team; we are always planning, running or supporting something!

Our CMDRs are referred to as 'Freelancers' and often have other engagements and affiliations such as Operation IDA, Hutton Truckers, Paradox Wing, Canonn, the Hull Seals and the Fuel Rats.

Our Freelancers are dyed in the Remlok space-faring types who value their autonomy, but we do have Squadron headquarters at Lubin Ring, HIP 2453 to which they may return as they wish; a fixed point in an increasingly unstable galaxy.  We have an active BGS management programme in which expansion is targeted toward systems beneficial to the squadron. We actively work to restrict expansion in areas frequented by other PMFs.

We were happy to welcome INARA Nexus to HIP 2453 in 3305 and fully support their remit to create a neutral meeting place for CMDRs without fear of assault. By agreement, we will seek to maintain INARA Nexus in the system at a low level of influence.

When not in deep space somewhere, IPX prioritises station repair and xeno defence.  We actively support Operation IDA in the Pleiades and will defend the Bubble, the Pleiades and Witch Head Sector against Thargoid aggression and incursion.

We are primarily a PS4 Squadron, but this is by accident rather than design and we welcome CMDRs active on all platforms.
