Welcome!
We established nearly five years ago to create a community of cmdrs wanting to get the most our of Elite. We support veteran cmdrs as well as new players - or experienced players wanting to come back to the game. AE is the home of Combat Exploration, proud of its combat exploits as much as its expeditions. Recently our focus has shifted more towards PvP so if you're an experienced combat commander please come and have a chat with us.
We fly in open, we prefer cmdrs who regularly join in the banter of voice chat and reward cmdrs for contribution to the community and squadron. No minimum effort required, RL comes first.
A.E. shares expeditions with allies and hosts regular events across combat, racing and multi-discipline training.
We have our own galactic and faction mapping / planning tools which utilise core EDDN sources in support of the small amount of BGS involved, but also made available to our key allies. These tools provide facilities which are not available anywhere else. We usually send detachments of volunteers on CGs - BGS pilots supported by combat pilots for close support & protection.
Our Values
After fighting difficult wars under significant pressure in previous squadrons, AE establishes the mandate for:
- Neutrality towards other squadrons
- Support of our neighbours on their BGS - except when working against another squadron
- Non-aggression towards other players in our area (friendly pre-arranged PvP is fine)
- Zero tolerance for bullying of any kind
There is no minimum attendance, and no minimum effort required. We would much rather you enjoy the game - or even take a break for your own sanity... after long voyages sometimes it's better to get out of the cockpit for a while! Turn up when you want to and we'll always find something for you to do in the pillar you want to focus on at the time.
An up-to-date Inara account and use of Discord is required for all cmdrs as this is the central coordination tool for our group. Feel free to use the link.
