The Applied Science Initiative is based in BD+73 447 and is a group of scientists and rational thinkers passionate about investigating the mysteries of the galaxy. The faction works hard to combat misinformation or propaganda with diligence and purpose.

The ASI group has extended its enterprise into existing technologies by acquiring a controlling stake in the nearby Old Worlds Corporation. The profits generated from the Old Worlds Corporationcore Industrial and Refinery economies have enabled them to expand into multiple systems in the Insubii sphere of influence. their primary focus will be developing the OWC & ASI factions throughout the region and beyond, securing trade routes, mining locations, shipyards, and other facilities for Mahon and the Alliance.
