Who We Are We are a private squadron comprised of ex-military, ex local security and civilian commanders. Most of us have been exiled from numerous factions, governments and corporations, mostly for not blindly following illegal orders, political propaganda and tolerating corruption from those in power. We are not pirates, and WILL NOT harm those who are innocent, and will always provide assistance to those in need. We fight for the people, and for their right to know the truth, we are not murderers or terrorists. We will however, often work undercover for these corrupt corporations and governments, silently collecting intelligence and information that aids our cause. This has the added benefit of helping fund the maintenance and support of the squadron, at the expense of our very enemies. We will actively seek out the corrupt, expose those who abuse their positions of power, and when the right time comes, bring those who have betrayed us, and betrayed the law, to face justice. The Vindicated justice. We have been labelled traitors, our names besmirched with lies and false accusations; our honour has been sullied in the name of greed and corruption. But the galaxy will learn the truth about who we are, we will expose those who have lied and deceived the galaxy…. and one day, we will be truly know as…. The Vindicated. Our Mission Primarily we want to create a squadron where anyone can join in and have fun. Since fun is a very subjective thing, what you do is completely up to you. Anything from organized SRV smash up derbys in a crater somewhere to organized wing missions against objectives to in depth roleplaying. The only thing we ask is that you stick to the core ideals of what the Vindicated stand for. Occasionally, we might send out a call to arms order for specific events or missions, and would expect as many commanders as possible to participate, since this is a squadron after all. This could mean anything from combat, trading and yes, even exploring certain parts of space. Drama is not welcome here, and political in-fighting will be looked down upon. Those wanting to take a more senior role in the squadron can make an application, followed by a period of harassment. Those who contribute to the squadron and show leadership abilities shall be rewarded with higher ranks, more authority and of course more responsibility. The rules are pretty basic and are mostly common sense. No Griefing or seal clubbing No Harassment of other (innocent) players or members of the squadron No PVP Piracy, unless there are standing orders to pirate certain factions. Mission board piracy/smuggling is fine however, as this can be considered a subversive tactic to keep your cover or even support the squadron Participate with the squadron as much as possible, but within reason.
