For the other three people who play Odyssey content, does anyone have lots of extra Combat Training Materials they don't need? The mission boards/givers have not been playing nice lately. If you also need something I can be on the lookout as I'm going about.

I have 56 and Inara says I just need 30 .... Have no idea why as I stopped playing month and a half ago. Let me know if you need me to login but it looks like we have +10h time difference.

You probably have a recipe pinned in Inara. You could add them to your friend list, put your mats into your bartender market and set your FC access to friends only to get around the time zone issue (otherwise someone else will snap them up - I sold mats before and within an hour all gone, every time).

I have 6 left so don't mind sharing those in similar way Kurakil.

Sure wish those exobiology payout increases happened a lot sooner... I would be a lot further along since I had a whole lot of first discoveries earlier this year. :sigh:

Don't go for geos in EDO. Whoever is that developer who coded geos in EDO had no clue about the game and s/he thought that geo and raw are the same just different names.

EDO 4.0 diminished the rate of loot-drop for raw, geo and emissions. So I think for that better to load back EDH 3.8 client.

If you get something in 3.8 it stays there. You cannot farm materials in legacy mode and then using them in live mode.

EDH 3.8 is now a separate game.

You are right, I missed it. EDO 4.0 then, it is what it is.

Looks like I'll be playing in Legacy for a while, until I get the better computer in working order. Horizons 4.0 destroyed itself and I can't get it to reinstall. Will check on Frontier pages if there is a way. Anyway it was a bit too heavy for my system, last runs on evacuation missions got frame rates of 10 or so when landing. Of course there were plenty of Commanders present in the system so that would make an issue on low end computer.

Where did you buy ED? Frontier, Steam, Epic?

Maybe we can help you repair the install. With a Steam-purchased copy it's usually easy. Just verify the local files in Steam, and if the issues persist, reset the game's graphics options and shaders by deleting the corresponding folder where the configuration files are stored. A full redownload of the game is never necessary.

Thanks Yuna Shakashiro for the offer to help, but apparently the ssd I've stored most of my game files has become a bit corrupted on the way. I'll let a couple of disk repair programs to look on it, and if they're not capable of fixing the issues, I think I'll wipe the whole disk and reinstall then.
