MeowersGot from Novice to Elite completely by fighting in CZs. Yup, it's the hard and slow way, but also entertaining.
How long did it take you to do that more or less ? Weeks , months days ?

About 2 months, but my playing time is quite unstable, so, as I think, it's possible to do within a month. Yup, bounty hunting is faster, but I just don't like it personally.

I am not sure its faster , as it seems to just creep along while doing the bounty hunting , kill 50 and it barely moves the line up. I wonder if it's linked to the version as I am running Odyssey more now than Horizons.

I wonder if it's linked to the version as I am running Odyssey more now than Horizons.As far as I know, both versions are using the same formula to calculate the rank gain after each kill. So, maybe you should, ummm... kill more? And give more attention to high-ranked opponents as they give more 'points'. To reach Elite doing CZs, I had to do... maybe 30 to 150 kills each day I played. Yeah, there were days when I wasn't playing, or hardcore days with up to 300 kills, etc., but mostly and 'average' it's about 100 per day.

You might have an easier time at Pirate Activity sites. As long as you don't have anything in your hold you can choose your fights. Threat Level 6 contains 100% deadly rated rats so you always get rank ups with every kill.
Also, if you're so inclined I hear theres oodles of Elite eagles to slaughter in Outbreak Checkpoint sites but I never did these so can't say for certain if it's a good idea.

Thanks for the tips , I will look into that and also the CZs zones and see if I can get the mark to move a bit more a bit quicker.
