Any tips for kitting out a Type 10 Defender may be for mining, with some fireproof bounty hunting?
This could be a good foundation for you. But expect Episparh to comment on this

-Knight-BluecrashIf one day they do add ship interiors and crew to certain ships, I hope they add animals too. That way, one of us can get you an actual in-game cat.
Wonder if the co-pawlets would have a rebuy cost. RE-PET
*LOL* That's a good one. Now we have to have that.
EpisparhBe sure to equip subsurface displacement missile alongside those mining lasers for tritium.
SakashiroActually I want to keep the pulse lasers, because killing a few pirates at the start of each mining session sets the right mood.Try Mining Lance, it will really give you some mood.
Sakashiro
Wait, are you suggesting a multi-role build? What about specialization?
Actually I want to keep the pulse lasers, because killing a few pirates at the start of each mining session sets the right mood. So I guess I'll make another build only for subsurface/core mining.
Kane BlackburnAny interesting looking nebulas near Sag A* i could visit? thanks
Kane Blackburn Also, how can I add my portrait to Inara?

EpisparhI gave you as example my Dwarf few times. It is not multi-role, it is universal miner. What you do is multi-role , half miner , half PvE build. You can keep ignoring my advice but sub-surface mining of tritium is more lucrative and the minigame is more interesting than laser mining.
SakashiroIt's actually mind-boggling that carriers require one of the scarcest fuels in the galaxy while any other ship can just scoop fuel from stars.

It's far more annoying that carriers require manually plotting each individual jump, and if the tritium tank runs out, you have to manually take excess tritium out of storage and put it in the tank. I'm paying an upkeep charge to pay the crew on board. The carrier has a captain, and a fuel team. Why can't they do it? What am I paying them for?
