Ah ok i see. and i guess with the new update everyone is on it
"Ouch," I shot back at the jab about my, let's say, 'flexible' approach to legality. "So you used to be all sleek and slim, and I had a virginal take on legality. Seems like age played us both dirty..." I retorted with a mischievous glint in my eye. I didn't hold it against her; us pirates often got a worse rap than we deserved. Slaughtering ship crews, for instance, was more a discipline of large corporations.

"Azimuth's got reach, but even they can't be everywhere. I reckon each of us has had a bounty on our heads at some point..." I pondered, glancing at Kasumi, "...well, almost all of us. Anyway, you can usually lay low somewhere if you can stomach the outer worlds. That's probably her only shot."

The fact that our guest was miffed about the revelations concerning her gear didn't surprise me. I'd be more than just ticked off if someone wired me up to be monitored and blown to smithereens.

"These AI chips aren't exactly lying around, so either they're sitting on a stash for some reason, or this gadget here is in extremely short supply. Some kind of prototype, perhaps?"

True to my nature, I often unconsciously gesticulated wildly with my hands to emphasize a point. I had done it again this time when I suddenly realized that my hand, which had been injured by the electric shock, already had healed completely - which perplexed me.
up to 55mn between Carrier jumps?

How about now selling us upgrades for fast sin up and increased range for Fleet Carriers?

I have 1,507 Jumps and 543,441.56 Ly on the clock with my Carrier, I use it as a base for long range exploration, but also to carry short range ships to engineers, not always stocked in one spot in the bubble, so how am I supposed to take this apart for a raw nerf?

What difference does it make to developers if we pay for the fuel and upkeep how we use them?

I hope you'll consider returning to the 20 mn spool up time we had before.

Thanks!

OK it makes sense now... First jump was 55mn, second 40mn, now it's 32 mn, I guess technicians are still working at it.

New ships is excellent news, I just got myself a Python II, but as a Carrier user I'd do with Carrier upgrades/engineering, for range and spooling time, some of us don't use them as static bases but do exploration and transport with them...
Carrier jump durations are dependant on the server load, sometimes it's even worse. So, nothing to worry about in particular, the carrier itself is fine.
Hey everyone.
bought a fleet Carrier last week, Its been going fine, just out exploring , but i have notices that as of the latest update it takes just under and hour to jump again.
anyone else noticing this

This seems like the best way. Thanks CMDR Atusia and everyone else. Great help as always. o7

That PMKII Stellar looks more like a grind trap, I just found out that player is not able to store or replace modules from pre-built ships and it is lacking optional slots for HRPs and MRPs, it would eat limpets like no tomorrow...WTF

Probably a bare minimum 2D FSD so it can supercruise around but not much else, using shipping service or carrier to get it somewhere...

... personally, I don't ever see the point of doing that. Or maybe the ship just never gets moved.

Currently trying to determine if 5A SCO has better deceleration than the 5C - if so, might actually be the very rare circumstance I don't run an A rated FSD. Because the better deceleration is actually kind of detrimental for those longer supercruise treks between planets/primary and binary, etc, stars.
"I have 'tasked' her to get us info. If she can. And think about what got her stuck in this mess. Was not so... keen, on Azimuth, after I showed your pictures and the audio thingy you recovered, earlier. We will learn soon enough if she can get us any result. But, we should still look at the megaship, for the case that it is not the truth."

I moved over to the remains of the computer, leaning over the table it was placed on, one leg placed forward slightly, both hands on said table. Which, of course, presented my backside, and the thighs as well to some extent.

"I sent you what she told me. And recognized me, except for insisting that I looked different on whatever Azimuth shared of me, without 'fattened hips and breasts'. But, the important part, I think they used the AI chip stuff for this. Maybe more. She did tell me, about overhearing 'techs' discussing with this, and that there were no details to the 'experimental technology' used in... I guess, this."

I raised a hand over the defunct device.

"And to 'watch its performance and what it was doing', apparently. Whatever is in there may not be completely legal... not that they would care." A brief glance went toward my companion. "Or you, I... guess."

I focused back on the computer again.

"Maybe analyzing the hardware components would be a good idea... if you have not. And I can also send you a recording of the full 'chat' I had. If you want it... for now, I am making her stay in the cell, until we are done with the project. I will decide what to do after that... she will have to survive Azimuth, if I let her go, anyway."

Yep. No need for additional weight, and it's pretty much the same with fuel scoop (gone) and everything I don't need for bounty hunting from my Carrier. 3D FRAME SHIFT DRIVE vs 6E FRAME SHIFT DRIVE (Stock Corvette). That's a 38 tons gain.

OK Folks. Time to go farming, hopefully, they didn't kill this spot (Orrere 2 B Anaconda Crash Site).

Good news, it's still there. Bad news, it's still as awkward to farm material as before.

There are 3 Canisters that you have to shoot to get the material, 1-2 small containers with grade 3/4 Raw Material each, they fly all over the place and sometimes it is impossible to get to them with an SRV. Log out/repeat for respawn.

55mn then 42 mn between two jumps with a Carrier? Long range exploration becomes impossible with them now, WTH were they thinking?

Oh, yeah, yeah, that hits the spot. Let the Pee Mk2 gallery spamming begin. :p

...hold on, wait a minute...
0.7ly jump range?

Did anybody buy Stellar variant of PMKII? Is its 5A FSD upgradable to the long range as it is shown in Ricardos youtube video? Thanks

My current Python II Specs compared to that of my Corvette which is fully optimized for combat, small FSD and Fuel Tank for example... The Python is only marginally engineered but as it is, my Corvette runs circles around the MK II in pitch and roll...

It should get better with full optimization (weight/engineering).

And NO I'm not dreaming, they seems to have nerfed the Carrier Jump time.
“Think your guest - if she survived the interrogation - was lucky to make it this far,” I said, flicking my free hand towards the suit’s computer.

“That blasted thing had a self-destruct mechanism. But no worries, I’ve tinkered with it. It won’t be blowing up anything anymore,” I said with a smirk, tilting my head to the side.

“Don’t look so glum now... There wasn’t much intel to scrape up anyway. Sent you the bits and bobs while you were playing bad cop with the prisoner. Besides, I snagged an authentication code that’ll let us masquerade as the captive soldier on demand."

"...So, how’d your little tête-à-tête go?”
I casually strolled into the room, not even bothering to hide the - natural or not - swaying of my enlarged hips, partly as it was just a byproduct of my adjusted walk cycle, the equally larger breast lightly moving up and down as part of this walking too. And then I stopped, taking in the situation.

Computer looked normal, but its power supply definitely showed signs of taking a bashing, its 'inspector' was hiding one hand under an armpit, and I placed both hands on my hips as fists.

"I expected a mess, but I also wanted to be disappointed."

So Frontier are up to some funny stuff with the Thargoids or the servers have run amok on it, but Titan Hadad (HIP 30377) suddenly went from "Needs at least two more weeks of system clearance to make it vulnerable" to "Well, it's going to be down to single-digit controls on Thursday"... if this is intended and not going to see a sudden reversion because the update screwed stuff up.

Still, if you want your Titan decal, best to pay attention... it will end up at 2 controls if this goes through.

With the E Class modules she is a bit sluggish but that's to be expected, it's far better with A class, but now I have to farm materials to finish engineering her before I can really see what she can do.

I'm on my way to Orrere (Anaconda crash site) for farming Raw Material and BAD surprise... My Carrier won't jump before 55mn.

Does anyone knows about the changes concerning materials? They say they'd make it easier to get them...

The other way for those who have a spare ship is Passenger Transport from Robigo Mines to Sothis/Sirius Atmospherics, you have the choice between credits, Manufactured and Encoded, it pays reasonably well (grade 3/4/5) and you get some change on top.

I think I'm gonna miss the Fighter, I find it very useful with the Krait MKII and the Corvette. The weapons looks well centered and grouped, I use 3 class 3 Multi-Cannons (1 Oversized and 1 CORROSIVE SHELL) and one Beam Laser long range THERMAL VENT.

The lasers have 6000m range and no fall off, so you can deplete shields from this distance, the combination of 2 x OVERSIZED and 1 x CORROSIVE SHELL is lethal, it's what I have on my Corvette and it works real well, I only use fixed weapons.

About the Passenger Mission at Robigo Mines, you can use an old Python without shields to gain an extra Passenger Cabin.

I never had any problem (Solo) but you have to be careful, if one ask for killing enemies, debark him before jumping even if you have to U-turn or you're gonna be Interdicted and shot at. You only need 30 LY Jump range and do it in two Jumps.
It has a few hours cache for the ship stats, but you should see some number there, but it's very low as there is not enough of the new Pythons (yet).
I stashed everything in its place, giving a sleeve a couple of swipes over the bits and bobs of the device, making them look as shiny as a newly born star. Overall, it was a pretty satisfying sight, if you ignored the fact that both the service time and any warranty on the suit's computer had expired forever. None of it was usable anymore, at least not as a whole. Might salvage a few chips, though.

I shoved my hand, where the thumb, index, and middle finger looked quite red, under the opposite armpit, pondering whether to call for a medic. Decided against it, though - the pain was already fading. The discoloration, on the other hand, seemed keen to stick around longer as an unwanted guest, I reckoned.

But hey, we got the data.

You sure can, but that’s going to be a lot of flying, as the Codex lists only the first report per galactic sector! I’d rather use an external tool as suggested by others.

Anyway, biologicals are fairly frequent; you’re bound to hit a good system eventually if you take care to do a complete FSS of every system you visit
yesterday, 6:22pm
Looks good so far, how she fly?
Statistics - Python Mk2 is not working? Or its just having a 24 hour update?
In the past, I have found that FSS did not always report organic or geological findings. Maybe things have changed since my last mapping and gene stealing trip many months ago. However, detailed Surface Scans always reveal findings but that requires visiting the planet and mapping it. I don't mind doing that since I tend to map systems where I am the first discoverer, anyway.
If I don't care about getting "first discovered" can I just go to the codex, discoveries, organic structures and fly to wherever they've been reported?

So...

It is possible to upgrade module from a station, i might be able to use some of my stored modules later (Carrier).

As it is performances are what can be expected from a ship entirely equiped with E Class modules and certainly need upgrading and engineering...

After upgrading to a 5A FSD, I only have 20.49 LY Jump Range...

NO Fighter Bay on this ship...

My tip: If you have stocked modules on your Carrier, buy the cheapest available module from a station to replace the E Class, then exchange with your own later.
