My journey to "finish" Elite Dangerous - Part 1

As I announced in my last log entry, I decided to focus on my ranks, in Elite Dangerous AND on Inara.- Elite V for each rank in-game
- Tier 5 for each award on Inara
Let's do a simple assessment of what's already done, what's almost done, and what will take longer to achieve.

So now that we can clearly see where we are at, I can make decisions and choose what to do next.
For the in-game ranks, the only thing I can do is play the game regularly. So I'll first focus on the Inara awards, instead.
So, let's start with the easy ones:
- The Explorer, The Mercenary, The Trader. Those are almost achieved. Even without focusing on them, I'll get them very quickly.
So no plans here, just playing.
Those that will be more difficult:
- The Xeno-Hunter
It has been a long time since I went on a Thargoid Safari. My ships are rusted, out of date, and we can say that my skills too. So first thing first, I'll need to update my ships, my knowledge, and at least take part in the current war. - The Miner
I like to mine from time to time. I'll keep doing it when I feel like it. - The Samaritan
Maybe before updating my AX ships, I can 1st make a little detour to save some civilians on attacked stations?
- The Captain
Maybe let's do the previous one with this altogether. I don't know if rescuing civilians counts as passengers, though. I do some passenger missions too, from time to time, anyway.
So here it is. Now, let's just enjoy the game, and focus on those. I'll update frequently, or at least each time a new tier is achieved. Don't hesitate to follow if you want to know what happens next.
