Hi Cmdrs,The Carrier Crew have returned, they seem to have had a good time. I’ll find out what they got up to another time.
Without too much fuss I sent the Carrier off another 500 ltyrs, got into the Cutter and set off after it, 28 jumps later I arrived at its new position. I haven’t mined any Tritium as I suggested yesterday and the trip was fairly uneventful to be honest. This image below was about the most interesting object I passed . . .
It’s a bit beige but sort of interesting at the same time. I did find a few High Metal Content planets which meant that by the time I caught the Carrier up I handed in a respectable 11,500,000 credits.
As I approached the Carrier I passed the outer container storage area and noticed a couple of the containers are up-side-down! Now I know there’s no up or down in space but I do have standards and that’s just shoddiness, they need turning all the same way up at least.
I’ve dropped off all but 7 units of Tritium to the Carrier, it’s still completely full so I couldn’t offload the last 7, however, 7 is low enough to change into one of other ships I have on board, so, I swapped to the Python. The crew suggested that I was taking it to check they hadn’t damaged it. I set another Carrier jump and took off.
I flew the Python around The Carl Sagan closely checking the hull and everything looked in order. Just for the hell of it I took this image.
I then watched the Carrier jump away. The next 27 jumps to the Carrier will be in the Python for a change, I’m looking forward to it.
I’ve added a new statistic to these tonight, the distance to Beagle Point.
