MINING TO MINING - CODEX UTILISATIONHi Cmdrs,
Tonight I’ve dropped back into the Tritium hotspot and finished mining another 266 tons despite loosing those 20 limpets whilst refuelling. Here I am just going back into the hotspot tonight.
I left the hotspot and continued with the 7 jumps to The Carl Sagan stopping off to visit this Gas Giant with Water Based Life, I’m guessing that’s fish! I flew over the North Pole of the planet so I could see the rings and there were also many storms in the clouds.
After making the final jumps I arrived at the Carrier to hand in 7,000,000 in scan data for the evening.
Having met with the Carrier at the rendezvous site we set up last night I now need to decide on how to proceed around the Norma Arm on this journey. I’ve used the Codex to help.
Other Commanders have been out this way before (although not many) and a few have found anomaly’s in space which get reported to the Codex, sometimes these need verifying, they can be found in the Codex. I’ve pinned about 4 such sites in front of me. The first one is quite some distance away still at 17,500 ltyrs distant, but it’s somewhere to aim for.
I cannot plot a route there in one go, it’s failing, but I’ve set off in the general direction with both the Carrier and the Cutter following on.
After only about 4 jumps out of the 26 jumps to the Carriers new position I found another Tritium hotspot which I went over to start work on, but not tonight, time for bed!

We have a long way to travel now. The next encounter isn’t even in the Norma Arm region.
