PRASINUM BIOLUMINESCENT ANEMONE FIELDS AND A 'Y' CLASS STAR

Hi Cmdrs,

I had a little drive around the planet I slept on last night where the Silicate Magma Lava Spout field was, but, didn’t find anything I haven’t come across before although at one point I thought Red Indians were smoke signalling that aliens had arrived . . .

A few jumps on and I’ve found my first Y CLASS Star I’ve come cross on this journey. This was one of FIVE stars in this system and was 340,000 thousand light seconds out from the main star.

They look like T Class Stars. Class Y dwarfs are the coolest of brown dwarfs. Surface temperatures are less than 700K, and are effectively very large gas giant planets, with some stellar properties.

When I arrived in the system The Carl Sagan had been sent to look at the vista I was greeted with . . .

An O Class planet, bright white with a violet halo

I handed in 3,000,000 for the exploration data and then set up the final jump sequence for the Carrier which would take me to the system which, according to the Codex, had Prasinum Bioluminescent Anemone fields on one of the planets. Again it was the standard 8 jumps.

When I arrived in system the first I did was to hand in 6,000,000 on the Carrier.

Once I’d re-grouped I set off for the Bio Planet which was 277,000 light seconds out. This is the approach vector I used as I got closer to the planet, which was the only planet in the whole system.

I landed at the number 2 Signal first and shortly after leaving the Asp I took this image at the Prasinum Bioluminescent Anemone Biological Signal site.

Now, these sites have the same ‘attachments’ as the previous Biological sites I went to the other day, the Bark Mounds, but this time I’ve taken some much closer images so you can see more of their detail.

This first one is the POLYPOROUS GROWTH, when I shot this off I got a Zinc, that I’m full of.

The second image is of the CODYCEP GROWTH, when breaking this off I got an Iron fragment.

The third one is the MUSSIDAEN SEED POD, breaking this one off got me a fragment of Tin, but I’m full of that too.

And again, the fourth type was the PHLOEM EXCRETION, this got me a piece of Yytrium.

I shot this image passing between two of the ‘Onion’ balls.

This final image shows the sheer size of this field. If you look closely you can see the SRV right at the bottom of this picture about two thirds over from the left, the Anemone field and then the Asp in the distance.

I did go to the other signal source on the planet but there was nothing there that wasn’t at the first one.

I’ve then used the Galaxy Map to plan my next Carrier jump going in the right direction but taking in a random O Class system, I’m hoping another O Class star might yield another planet with Biological Signals on.

The Carrier has left but I decided to stay on the planet for the night, at the second site I visited. I’ve rolled out my sleeping bag, put the kettle on and am getting ready to settle down for the night, goodnight Cmdrs.

Oh, just for interest I took some video of the strange goings on inside these Anemones, see what you think . . .
