PROTO TYPE STAR FOUND, A SWIMMING POOL & 15 WEEKS OUT IN THE BLACK

Hi Cmdrs,

I forgot to include this image yesterday showing one of the arms of the Neutron Star perilously close to The Carl Sagan. I've added it into yesterday’s log but thought I'd include here again . . .

I set up the next jump sequence which was 8 jumps for the Asp. I found another Geological Signal on one of the planets and decided to check it out. On approach I took this image of what looked like a swimming pool under construction.

After the 8 jumps I handed in 5,500,000 credits, then moved 500 tons of Tritium from stock leaving 20,500 tons. I then set up the next sequence to the next O Class Star which was 5 jumps away. I took this photo as I approached The Carl Sagan, look how it’s bathed in a purple haze from the O Class main star . . .

I then set up the next 7 jumps to take in a Protostar, something I’ve not come across on this journey so far. They do not look much different to a normal M Class yellow star, but they have different characteristics. Here I can be seen transiting the Sun.

This is the Official Description of a Protostar:-
Herbig Ae/Be stars are young stars typically less than 10 million years old with characteristics of either A or B class main sequence stars. They are usually between 2 and 8 solar masses.

I then jumped ahead of the Carrier, leaving it in situ, whilst I flew to the next O Class as it wasn’t far away. My intention was to fly the Carrier past me to the next destination but I then found another O Class and my jump sequences got out of hand so when I got to the final O Class for the day I stayed there and ensured the Carrier met me in that system. I waited and even got to the entry point taking this image as it appeared.

Finally I have found an O Class system that no-one else had found! Unfortunately though there were no landable planets, so the search continues for the ideal system were I might ‘first find’ Biological Signals.

I handed in 7,000,000 in scan data.

I got quite a good way on today and I’m now already to make the next move. See you tomorrow Commanders . . .

Total Ship jump distance so far: 77,986
Total planets Level 3 scanned: 28,595
Total exploration data: 769,000,000 credits
Total systems with my name on: 3649
My Ship is now 37,221 ltyrs away from Sol!
Distance to Beagle Point: 37,877 ltyrs

These O Class Stars are keeping me busy!
