CMDR PAUSANIAS - THE SHIP OF THE MIND EXPEDITION - DAY 106

SILICATE VAPOUR FUMEROLESHi Cmdrs,
I started my day today aiming for another O Class system that was 1700 ltyrs away from where I left off.
It was the usual 8 jumps and on the route I found this lovely looking planet which turned out to have Geological Signals, so I went down.
I flew down to one of the Geological Signals and found a field of Silicate Vapour Fumeroles. These seemed much bigger and taller than others I’ve found so far.
I had a bit of a drive round and found several minerals but virtually none I could pick up being full of them, I did get a few finds of Zirconium though, which I can collect.
I don’t know how I did it but I reversed up at one point and then couldn’t move, when I went into the outside camera I found out why, somehow I’d got myself stuck pivoting on this fumarole.
When I got to the Carrier system I handed in 2,500,000 credits and set up the next 8 jumps.
Things became a little mundane then as I jumped to the Carrier without much to report and handed in 2,500,000 credits. This time I transferred 500 tons of Tritium from the hold which now leaves 20,000 tons.
I then jumped another 8 jumps and handed in 5,000,000. I still have just under 300 ltyrs to get to the O Class system I first saw today, but I’ll finish that tomorrow.
I’m staying on The Carl Sagan tonight.
