A BLACK HOLE & A PROTO STAR

Hi Cmdrs,

I plotted a route 1015 ltyrs distant to a waypoint which turned out to be 17 jumps from my position yesterday, this is on the route to the marker I've placed on the far side of The Veils Region. I also jumped The Carl Sagan along side this route at the same time as I have been doing lately.

Both the Asp and Carrier arrived in the target system, which showed up as an O Class System in the Galaxy Map, but when I arrived that was it! Just the star, nothing else, again!

I transferred 6,500,000 exploration credits to the Carrier and also moved another 500 tons of Tritium leaving 17,500 in stock. Then I set up the next sequence to what I thought was a Neutron Star, but it turned out to be a Black Hole, one somebody else had already discovered again. I need to find a virgin Black Hole on this journey if I can.

Here you can see the Asp at the Event Horizon. I cannot get any closer than this. Look how the Black Hole distorts the stars into a circle.

This image shows the Asp, Carrier and the Black Hole but at this distance it's not very obvious. If you draw a line out from the direction the Asp is pointing, about where that line meets the Carrier you can see that space looks circular, that's the Black Hole. It was only about 18 ltyrs away, they are not very big.

It was only 7 jumps to the next O Class system where again there was nothing special about it, no planets to land on. I handed in only 500,000 of scan data here and then carried on.

By the time I reached the next waypoint I had 6,000,000 credits to hand in and this system turned out to be a PROTO STAR for the main Sun. There were quite a few planets in this system too but none landable. I did go over to this High Metal Content which was worth scanning.

I've carried on jumping and scanning for quite a while before finding this Ammonia World to park next to for the night. I've parked in a high orbit for the evening and I'll stay here tonight. The Carl Sagan is actually a couple of systems behind me at the moment. I'll remote jump it tomorrow along my route.

Total Ship jump distance so far: 91,643
Total planets Level 3 scanned: 31,701
Total exploration data: 824,000,000 credits
Total systems with my name on: 3870
My Ship is now 44,597 ltyrs away from Sol!
Distance to Beagle Point: 25,335 ltyrs

I need a bit of action, something interesting to find, soon.
