CMDR PAUSANIAS - THE SHIP OF THE MIND EXPEDITION - DAY 114

LOTS OF WATER WORLDSHi Cmdrs,
I have set a Target system on the far side of The Veils region to aim for and this has worked out at 53 jumps for the Asp to do from today’s position.
Plotting a route that only takes in A, B and O Class systems is yielding lots of Water Worlds such as this one . . .
I came across an odd shaped moon today too, the ones with chunks missing from them being a normal sphere. This one had a couple of Biological Signals on it so I went down to investigate and found Sulphur Dioxide Gas Vents. I didn’t find any materials I could collect but I did take this stunning image of the planet this moon orbits which included the SRV and the Ship complete with long evening shadows.
I’ve only jumped probably 9 jumps in total today as there have been lots of distant Water Worlds and High Metal Content planets to scan in each system. The furthest out was 48,000 light seconds from its main Sun.
I arrived in the Carrier system and having scanned the bodies there headed for the The Carl Sagan handing in 22,000,000 for all the bountiful planets I’ve found today.
Whilst the Asp was on deck I thought I’d pop outside and took this photo from the guardrails next to the landing pad . . .
I also used the external camera to get this image showing your intrepid explorer sitting high in his cockpit seat.
Total Ship jump distance so far: 93,751
Total planets Level 3 scanned: 32,246
Total exploration data: 879,000,000 credits
Total systems with my name on: 3905
My Ship is now 45,941 ltyrs away from Sol!
Distance to Beagle Point: 23,744 ltyrs
Things are getting a little more interesting again, maybe I’m getting close to finding a unique Biological Signal soon?
