CMDR PAUSANIAS - THE SHIP OF THE MIND EXPEDITION - DAY 131
18 Dec 2020Pausanias
I’VE GONE SO FAR TODAY I THINK I’LL GET THERE TOMORROWHi Cmdrs,
I set off again today with 98 jumps to go to get to Beagle Point and once again The Abyss hasn’t yielded much of interest apart from what’s in this log today, but, I have put some space behind me and when I’d done today I was left with under 1500 ltyrs to go!
The first item of interest was this Ringed High Metal Content planet I came across. I managed to get this shot with the Galaxy in the background. From my current vantage point I can almost see it all, right across, and look at the lack of stars.
I then came across this Ammonia World with very unusual colouring that I thought was worth visiting both financially and visually. Look at the seas of chocolate and the large clouded area which looked like a massive storm.
I then found this other High Metal Content planet with volcanoes spewing a white substance and see the long ridge on this image too all in the ice covered area of this planet.
I’ve been handing in at The Carl Sagan all day and I’ve put all the amounts in here as they were handed in: 4,000,000 - 3,500,000 - 4,000,000 - 13,500,000 - 5,500,000, total 30,500,000, not a bad day really.
I’m staying on the Carrier tonight and I’ve been joined by my good friend and wing mate, Shengar Landar, we’ll be hitting the bar ASAP for a catch up.
Tomorrow we head for Beagle Point . . . and beyond . . .
