This thread is dedicated to translations of Inara. For the easier translation process, Inara's own translation tool is used and you can find the state of the translations here. If you want to contribute to the translations, please let me know.

English Language: the page /elite/cmdr/ say EXOBIOLOGIST for the rank
that should be "EXOBIOLOGY"

since "Y" is the field and "IST" is the descriptive/rank

Although you are right, I want to be on par with the in-game rank names there. Which reminds me that I should change the "exploration" to "explorer", so thanks for reminding!

A very importend mistake in the german version is the rank "König" for the highest rank in Imperium. The correct translation for "Vicount" (it´s only an english titel!) is "Vizegraf"!

Hello, thank you for the report. The "König" is there already, but the Viscount is translated as "Burggraf" and I suppose it's because it is in the game that way. Or is the in-game rank translated as "Vizegraf"?

We have something similar in Portuguese.
In-game:
"Earl" is translated as "Marquis"
"Marquis" is translated as "Duke"
"Duke" is translated as "Arch-Duke" or "Grand-Duke".

I highly recommend looking up how it's translated in-game.
You may need to ping a large German player group so you have more data to work on.

Polish is included, and it's about 78% translated and approved.

Artie can get you Translator/Reviewer access.

It's daunting at the beginning, but once you get the flow going, you don't even see the time pass by. I translated 100% of Portuguese when we were around 16k words in about a week. We're at 20k now.
